Koa Wood Custom
Koa is a tropical hardwood found at higher elevations in the Hawaiian Islands, especially the Big Island. Acacia Koa is endemic to Hawaii, and is a fast growing tree when compared to other Hawaiian trees. Because of a high demand for koa, it is rare to find trees of a large size. The early Hawaiians used koa for making canoes, calabashes (bowls), weapons and various other items.

Koas colors range from light to dark browns and reds.

We feature many specialty custom pieces hand crafted in our shop to give a timeless, classic gift, award, or even nametags. We can also engrave your koa item to make it personalized.
